The GROW internships are for enthusiastic, dedicated youth alums of the Youth Growers program to dive into our community food work.  Through the internship, youth will work together and with a range of Cultivating Community staff to take on projects in farming, teaching others, and marketing small enterprises at new farmers' markets.  Youth will have the opportunity to explore farming, community building, teaching and sharing experiences with other youth, and how to run a small business, through a spring and summer of intensive, hands-on work. Applications for 2010 closed in March.

Schedule and dates:

 Spring
April 16-June 18
After school 3 days/week
Some Saturdays for retreats, community projects, and adventures

 Summer
June 21-July 16
First Intensive
Five days a week for four weeks

July 26-August 20
Second Intensive
Five days a week for four weeks

August 23-27
Reflection and retreat

Fall
September-November

Opportunity to reapply for Fall internship in area of interest.
