Youth will throw a harvest food event for elders in the community to share their work and will have the opportunity to participate in the Common Ground Country Fair on Saturday September 26th as a celebration of harvest in Maine.

 Intention of C3:

Everyone involved will experience a deeper connection to the land, their community, each other and themselves and everyone will be excited about food in Maine.

Everyone will master core skills necessary to harvest, cook and preserve local foods in delicious ways.  They will also develop an understanding of how their work contributes to a more sustainable food system and stronger community.
