The Technology User Group Initiative was formed
in 2006 in response to the growing need to address the growing need for
technology support in Portland Maine. This site is dedicated to the
hosting side of that technology need. We provide free hosting for
non-profits as well as site building and consultation.

We invite community-based and nonprofit organizations, media arts
centers, libraries, schools, colleges and universities, activist
groups, and social justice allies to use the festival to counter the
mainstream media's narrow points of view. We invite you to connect
these stories to your own work for social justice.The initiative is designed to help make nonprofits more
efficient and better able to serve their communities. Areas of interest
include education, public health, and youth advocacy. Nonprofits anywhere in the world are eligible to apply.
